On May 1, 2008, The National Day of Prayer, PrayerFlight.org promoted flights over the fifty State Capitols with prayer warriors praying for our Nation, our leaders, the legislatures, courts, education, business, the Military, law enforcement, the elections, and other issues vital to our national security. It was also recommended that the Preamble of the State Constitution be read while airborne over the city.
Crystal and I were blessed with the privilege to participate in this effort. We all hope it will help inspire people everywhere to pray for our great Land. Below is a picture of the West Virginia State Capitol taken during this Prayer Flight - about noon on May 1. Also, I am including the text of the Preamble to the West Virginia State Constitution.

Since through Divine Providence we enjoy the blessings of civil, political and
religious liberty, we, the people of West Virginia, in and through the
provisions of this Constitution, reaffirm our faith in and our constant
reliance upon God, and seek diligently to promote, preserve, and perpetuate
good government in the State of West Virginia for the common welfare, freedom,
and security of ourselves and our posterity.
