My point of view: I first learned of Patriot Bible University through the internet. I was impressed with their offering of educational,  theological, and other courses. I was also pleased with their reasonable prices. It appeared to me that they really had a heart to help enhance peoples' ministries through higher education.

Later, after I had begun correspondence with PBU, I did a Google search to find out what else was on the internet about this institution.

I found, among other things, that several non-creative web sites were all saying exactly the same critical words. This was all aimed at harming the credibility of the School because Dr. Kent Hovind had received his doctorate there. The evolutionists are constantly trying to discredit any scientific information that might conflict with their preconceived ideas. Dr. Hovind is a science expositor presenting much material on Creation, Evolution, and such related things as dinosaurs, through his ministry called Creation Science Evangelism.

I went all the way through grade 12 in a secular government school, so I am no stranger to their teachers, methods, and content. I have 30 years of experience in Christian education, and also as a pilot and flight instructor, I have attended, (or viewed,) thousands of hours as a participant in various seminars. (both Christian and secular) I say that to demonstrate that I feel I am educated enough to recognize a quality program when I see one.

I have taken several courses through Patriot Bible University, and have received much benefit and knowledge, all relevant to my ministry here in Papua New Guinea. I have helped sign up a couple national  students in this country.

No matter where you get your education, the liberal extremists will try to discredit your credentials, if you don't subscribe to their humanistic, atheistic, socialistic, and evolutionary philosophy. It reminds me of the Charleston, West Virginia, newspaper editorial which referred to Pat Robertson as "uneducated!" He has a Law Degree from Yale!

So don't think you must get a degree from some prestigious institution to gain the acceptance of the world. It won't work! George W. Bush graduated from Harvard, but since he is conservative, the liberals still hate him.

If you are looking for an inexpensive way to gain valuable knowledge, useful in your work, you will find it at PBU. If you believe that a prestigious name is more important that practical learning, you might be disappointed. I am thankful for every course I have taken, even though I am of a slightly different doctrinal persuasion on some issues. I have not found these issues to be presented in an overbearing manner.

I just hope this little testimonial will be one more positive message for those seeking more information about this fruitful and helpful institution. I am glad to lend my voice to help build the credibility of ministries which honor the Lord Jesus Christ. My first hand experience with their courses helps put me in a position to make a qualified judgment.

Evangelical Bible Mission - Papua New Guinea

JUNE 2007 UPDATE: On June 6, 1967, I graduated from Ashtabula High School in Ashtabula, Ohio. Exactly 40 years later I participated in the graduation exercises of Patriot Bible University, having completed my Master of Arts degree in Christian Education. I have learned so much through these courses, and the related research!

I am also grateful for so many of our children and other family members who put forth such effort to attend my graduation.
